Plans & Pricing

Klowdfone, which is based in the UK, is one of the most competitive VoIP providers on the market.  With three low-cost but not low-quality plans, you can pick and choose the one that best fits your needs and your expected usage.  Plans are designated as Pay as you go, Unlimited, and Enterprise.  All three plans contain the same great features, but differ primarily on usage costs.

Pay as you go has a cost of 1p per minute for calls to landlines and mobiles within the UK, while the Unlimited plan waives that usage cost.  On top of this, the Enterprise plan includes free CRM integration, call recording, and call reporting.  Although these features are available with the first two plans, they must be purchased separately.  All plans can be enhanced with international calling to selected destinations for a monthly flat fee of £5.00.

As with many other providers, the service can function using a mobile app or a desktop application.  So physical telephone devices are unnecessary and thus don’t obligate you to pay additional costs for hardware.  However, if you do choose to use IP desk phones, they can be purchased directly from Klowdfone.

All prices are in GBPs as the service is currently only available in the UK, but will soon be offered in the USA as well.

Features and Functionality

All packages include the same set of advanced features you would expect from a high-quality VoIP provider.  These include fundamental phone features such as hunt groups, conferencing, voicemail, and music on hold.  Some of the most useful features include:

Ease of Use

All of Klowdfone’s configuration takes place with user-friendly graphical user interfaces.  Both the desktop and mobile app are as easy to use as any office phone.  The IP desk phones that are available are also intuitively designed and most of their features can be accessed and operated without the need for training or an instruction manual.

One of the most important aspects of ease of use is the fact that Klowdfone will not only offer an easy-to-use online system, but will also provide on-site demonstrations at your location and can have your system up and running in most cases within four hours.

Customer Support

Compared to other providers, Klowdfone’s online support resources are scanty at best.  There’s no knowledgebase, “how-to” documentation, videos, or case studies.  However, according to many user reports, they more than make up for this with their telephone support.  Customer support agents have been described as stellar, fantastic, and excellent, to use just a few adjectives.

Klowdfone’s philosophy seems to be one of personal service, rather than offering online resources for users to work through.  For this reason, Klowdfone’s customer service agents and technical support agents are available 24×7 all year round!
