InPhonex provides some very reasonably priced VoIP services, particularly for residential consumers. Businesses of various sizes will find many of the features to be of great use, especially those in the SMB market, making InPhonex a viable VoIP provider for many.

This package costs $19.95/month with an annual payment + one-time $24.95 setup fee. It includes more than VoIP 20 features, unlimited US/Can calls, and unlimited calls to more than 67 countries.

Pay as you go calling

In this package, you pay a one-time fee of $9.95, and a monthly fee is calculated based on calls made. It includes more than 20 VoIP features and free calls between virtual numbers.

Lifeline

You are charged $7.95/month initially and then you get the pay as you go feature using which you can place calls to any country in the world. You get low international rates and free calling to other numbers.

Features and Functionality

Online account management

This allows for effective management of all account information in one handy location through the use of the InPhonex Control Panel. Inspect your call history, alter any information in your accounts, listen to voicemails, manage your call forwarding options, and much more with this great feature.

Virtual phone numbers

Users within the network are allocated virtual phone numbers, which are seven-digit numbers that work as an address to be contacted through. This allows for free calls to be made between virtual phone numbers of any InPhonex user. Four virtual numbers are provided for free along with your own number, enabling you to create a network of callers that can be reached for free, regardless of location.

Multi-ring

Incoming calls can be managed to ring one of several numbers. This can be simultaneously or sequentially and can be done for any length of time. Numbers can be run in any order you want, and everything is controlled via the InPhonex Control Panel.

Ease of Use

Setting up any of your plans from InPhonex is easy and quick. All you need is a broadband internet connection and a phone adaptor, IP phone, or softphone. While InPhonex doesn’t provide these with a plan, they do supply them for reasonable prices on their website.

There is easy access to online instructions for configuring and then registering your phone, and many other issues you may come across, so you likely won’t need an IT specialist to set them up. Businesses setting up a larger network of users may need more assistance on the matter, although there will likely be a specialist already capable of this within the company.

Customer Service

InPhonex gives users a wide range of support options via their website. These include guides for getting started and device configuration, FAQs, a knowledge base, and an unusual but helpful feature of a glossary of terms. However, there are limited options for contacting customer service directly. Users can log in to their account to access the support center through email or call a toll-free number from the US and Canada to get phone help. Unfortunately, the business hours for when the phone representatives are available are not shown on the website.
