Can a cell phone be used? Are there any restrictions relative to the type or available cell phone features ? Can you send me a schematic of the arrangement?
Hi George, thank you for your question. The short answer is yes, your cell phone or mobile device can be used with your VoIP system. Each provider and system will work slightly differently. Here is an article that explains a bit more about the topic.
Will VoiP work if you’re not at home?
Yes, VoIP works by using your internet or WiFi connection to make phone calls. This means that your calls can be forwarded to your mobile device, or between different landlines. Different VoIP providers also have features such as Voicemail to SMS, and more.
